Found something
outside your scope?
Home inspectors, roofers, plumbers, restoration firms, property managers and general contractors run into suspected microbial growth constantly — usually at the least convenient moment. This is a straightforward place to send it.
Who this is for
If your trade puts you in attics, basements and crawl spaces, you've seen it. You don't need to diagnose it — you just need somewhere credible to point.
Home inspectors
You flag a condition for further evaluation. We evaluate it and report back plainly, without inflating what you wrote.
Roofing contractors
You open a roof and find the sheathing has been wet for years. We handle the growth; you handle the roof.
Plumbers
The leak's fixed but the surrounding material tells a longer story. We deal with what's left behind.
Restoration firms
Overflow, geography, or jobs where a targeted approach suits better than a full build-back.
Property managers
Recurring tenant concerns across a portfolio, with documentation you can keep on file.
General contractors
A renovation opens a wall and reveals a condition that has to be addressed before framing continues.
How referring works
Send it over
Give the homeowner our number, or send us the contact details, location and any photos or report language with their permission.
We take it from there
We contact the homeowner, inspect at no charge, and issue a written scope. They contract directly with us.
You stay informed
With the homeowner's authorisation we'll confirm whether the case is scheduled, completed, or not a qualifying GOAT scope.
What we
commit to
- We don't pay referral fees, and we don't accept them. There's no undisclosed benefit in either direction.
- We don't market competing services to clients you send us.
- We don't criticise your work or your findings in front of your client.
- We don't diagnose from photographs or write a scope we haven't inspected.
- We tell the client honestly when treatment isn't warranted.
- The client contracts with us directly — you aren't guaranteeing our work.
Why partners
keep doing it
- Your client gets a clear answer instead of an uncontrolled search for a remediation company.
- Nobody talks them into a project three times the size of the actual problem.
- Your own recommended corrective work gets reinforced rather than undermined.
- You look like the person who knew who to call.
- If it turns out to be nothing, we say so — which protects your credibility too.
GOAT Service does not represent that every visible condition is mold, or that every project can be completed without material removal. Treatment method, scope and pricing depend on inspection findings and site conditions. Each contractor remains responsible for its own work.
