Green Options
and Treatment.
That's what the name stands for, and it's a reasonable summary of the business. We treat suspected microbial growth and odor in the parts of a house nobody wants to crawl into — and we tell people the truth about what we find there.
What we're for
There's a version of this industry that works by making people frightened. A homeowner sees something dark on their attic sheathing, searches the internet at eleven at night, and by morning is convinced their house is a health emergency.
We've never wanted to run that business. Most of what we're called out to look at is a manageable condition caused by something ordinary — a bath fan venting into an attic, a downspout dumping against a foundation, a crawl space with no vapour barrier. Some of it isn't microbial growth at all.
So the job, as we understand it, is to look properly, say plainly what's there, recommend a scope that matches it, and point at the thing that caused it. Sometimes that means telling someone they don't need us.
How we operate
GreenEnzyme-based treatment options, chosen for the conditions rather than applied to everything by default.
OptionsYou get more than one path where more than one path genuinely exists, explained in language that doesn't require a background in building science.
AccountabilityA written scope before you commit. If we're wrong about something, we'd rather find out at the inspection than argue about it afterwards.
TreatmentFocused work, matched to what the inspection actually found — and honest about when treatment alone isn't the answer.
Who we work with
Homeowners hire us directly, and a good share of our work arrives through people who found something and needed somewhere credible to send it.
Homeowners
The majority of what we do. Usually someone who found something unexpected and wants a straight answer about it.
Realtors, buyers & sellers
Inspection findings that surface late in a transaction and need a fast, accurate response.
Insulation & energy contractors
We've served as a referral resource for energy-efficiency and insulation professionals for more than ten years.
Inspectors & trades
Roofers, plumbers, restoration firms and property managers who run into it outside their scope.
Small commercial
Multi-family, rentals and small commercial properties within the same service area.
Property managers
Recurring concerns across a portfolio, with documentation that can be kept on file.
Where we work
Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and northern Rhode Island. If you're near the edge of that, call and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to you rather than string you along.
For current business documentation — licensing, insurance certificates and qualifications — contact us directly and we'll provide what applies to your project.

The inspection costs nothing and the written scope comes with it. Worst case, you find out you didn't have a problem.
